Civic Engagement in Greater Miami
Along with the FIU Jorge M. Pérez Metro Center, the Miami Foundation has put together a series of briefs designed to help elevate local issues facing Miamians to spark conversation and action, year-round. These are tools to help create broad awareness, direct resources, and build support for collective action. Each snapshot aims to give the “101” on why something matters (the issue), where do we stand on that (using data/metrics) and what can we do about it (call to action).
Catalyst Miami staff were invited to participate in a series of interviews to provide input on a "Civic Engagement" brief, including answers and data on what it means to be civically engaged in Miami, where we stand, and how we can improve.
