Data Disclosure

Providing your demographic information to Catalyst Miami is voluntary. You can answer any, all, or none of the demographic questions you are asked. You can also ask that your answers not be recorded in writing anywhere. You may participate in our programs no matter which questions you choose to answer.

Catalyst Miami asks these demographic questions because:

1. We can better meet your needs. This information helps us know which programs you may qualify for and allows us to tailor services to you and your household. You may also qualify for additional resources that we can share with you.
   
   
2. We take equity and inclusion seriously. Knowing who is in our community helps ensure we’re living up to our values.
   
   
3. We may include demographic data in publications describing our work, like our annual report (for example, see page 41 here.) We only share overall totals and not the personal information of any specific person.
   
   
4. We share demographic data with funders when requested. Their support enables us to pay our staff and provide all our programs for free. We only share overall totals and not the personal demographic information of any specific person.
