At Catalyst Miami, we invest in people so they can change their lives and communities for the better.
Our certified coaches help individuals and families increase their access to healthcare, nutrition, and achieve financial stability. We support local small and micro businesses by providing them with technical assistance. We also incubate innovative programs designed to support long-term capacity and opportunity. One example is our children’s savings account program, Future Bound Miami, which sets up Miami-Dade’s future generations for success.
Our clients don’t just receive services — our health and financial coaches also weave policy education into their work with clients, and engage them in our leadership and advocacy initiatives. We work closely with clients to make sure all of our programs align with their needs and priorities. Together, we’re creating a stronger community and driving meaningful change.

Financial & Health Services
Catalyst Miami has helped thousands of Miami-Dade residents access health coverage and income supports. We also provide financial coaching to groups, households, and individuals. Through partnerships, we help clients with issues related to immigration, education, employment, and housing.
While we focus on our clients’ immediate needs, we also encourage them to get involved in their community and speak up for solutions to bigger problems. As clients step into their leadership, we’re collectively transforming conditions for everyone.
Tax Preparation
Catalyst Miami offers free tax preparation services for households earning $65,000 or less annually. We help clients file their taxes and navigate other tax-related needs.
Small Business Support
Small businesses are the bedrock of our local economy. Our small business program is designed to support early-stage small and micro businesses, providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed. We offer one-on-one technical assistance, as well as education, to help businesses think through the fundamentals of business modeling, financing, marketing, legal compliance, and banking.
Future Bound Miami
Future Bound Miami is a program that helps young children save money for their future education. It provides a children's savings account (CSA) to kindergarten students in Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS). These accounts are free and long-term, and help kids prepare for college or other postsecondary education. In 2023, the Future Bound Miami program reached scale, establishing a CSA for all kindergarten students across the M-DCPS system.
